Maurilio for Model Number RS2545SH My freezer is working fine but the fresh food side is not. A few days ago we heard a loud noise coming from the fresh food section and when I removed the cover to get to the evaporator fan, everything was frozen on the evaporator.
Answer Hello Maurilio, This sounds like a defrost issue with a stopped up defrost drain. You will most likely need to replace the evaporator cover DA97-02427G and add a defrost drain heater 819043 after clearing the frozen defrost drain with a hair dryer. Read More...
