Daniel for Model Number RS267LASH My Refrigerator is not cooling enough. The freezer is working fine. When the refrigerator fan is on it makes a louder noise than it use to make. When I open the fridge door and the fan turns off I hear it rattling.I don't feel any air coming in from the vents. The temperate on the fridge sometimes says its 62 and at other times it says 46 in spite it feeling the same. I also noticed that the water dispenser tube is frozen. Please let me know of the items I need to purchase to fix this so that I may do so. Thanks and much appreciation for your wonderful website.
Answer Daniel, based on the information provided, it sounds like there is a defrost problem in the refrigerator section. The defrost heater DA47-00323F can be tested for resistance and it should measure 103O. The refrigerator sensor DA32-10109Y will also need to be tested for resistance. This would be done by getting an accurate temperature check while measuring resistance from the main control (refrigerator unplugged from outlet) using the wires at connection CN90 from the gray wire at pin 7 to the brown wire at pin 6. At 60°F the resistance should be 7032O, 50°F would measure 8867O, 40°F would be 11000O, and 30°F would be 13857O. The defrost thermal fuse DA47-00301F would also need to be tested for continuity and should show as having continuity. If the tests are within range, then it is likely that there may be a control board failure. For the most accurate information regarding the main control, the full model and REV numbers would be necessary. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Wednesday, April 8, 2020
