Rachelanne for Model Number mtw6700tq1 Just completed bearing replacement and have a slight worry. Once all back together I gave the impeller a slight nudge. It rotates smoothly almost 360 degrees but feels like the rotor is rubbing someplace on the stator. Took the rotor off and tried multiple times to reposition it but always get a very light rub or scuffing at some point. Just a degree or two long. Loosened and re-tightened the stator and don't see any damage to stator or rotor. I didn't drop anything. But I did break two 2x4 boards trying to free the basket with the jack. Does the rotor have an index mark for installing?
Answer Hello RachelAnne, the outer tub is the structural component for the alignment of the drive shaft bearings and the shaft itself, it may be slightly warped at this point, it is part W10193886, there is no index point needed for installing the rotor.
