Phil for Model Number mdbh989awb2 My dishwasher would not start after pressing the start button. All other buttons lit up. A few times I got it to start by pushing the start button many times but then not even when I did that. After that the three lights to the left of the panel heavy, normal and light would not come on when pushed. Based on what I read here I ordered a control module AP4588346 (W10298356) and still have the same exact problem. PLEASE help
Answer Hi Phil. I would use a volt/ohm meter part # MA-DM1 to assist. you in your diagnosis. Remove the inner door panel. Look at where the door latch connects to the keypad console assy. Are you getting the supplied house voltage at the black wire and the white wire coming up from the units junction box there on one side of the switch (Common switch terminal)? Ten with the switch closed you should get the same voltage out and then it will feed the round thermal fuse incoming on the board top. This is fuse part # W10258275.
