Benidict for Model Number Whirlpool Gold Quiet Partner III under counter dishwasher. When you open the door it drops down rapidly like there is no spring to control opening. I found a small rubber gromlet that has what looks like a break since it is no longer stretchable. Is this part of the door assembly? I looked at the detailed pictures on line and cannot identify what assists the door on opening and closing. If this gromlet is what assists the door I need to know where it fits on the machine and what is the part number. If this rubber band is not used in the machine, tell me what part of the system slows down the door opening. When you now open the door it free falls completely. Thank You
