"Involuntary" Diy Lawyer. for Model Number MAH4000AWQ, SN 53381272YK I've just paid an appliance repairman $350 for "who knows what"--although, I'm going to find out. Just as before he "repaired" my washer, everything works, except that it doesn't spin--the clothes are dripping wet at the end of its cycle. It would also seem that the repairman neglected to check the drain path, because I just shop vacuumed 12 dimes and 5 pennies from the pump's intake. (Now, it expels water FAR more efficiently.) I've also checked the R-11 resister--It's visually pristine, as is the remainder of AP4026827. The door locks consistently with the indication of the door-lock light. Again, everything works as it should, just no spin. Although I'm not ready to give up my "day job," I'm presently just a little "down" on my local appliance repairman. Your advice?
Answer Hello. Check and make sure the out of balance switches WP22003302 and WP22002044 are good on the unit. Make sure the wires going to them are not broken also. There are three switches on the unit. One on the bottom, one on the side and one on the top of the tub. Hope this helps. Read More... Answered by AppliancePartsPros.com | Tuesday, October 25, 2011
