Terra for Model Number 110.63932101 All parts have continuity. The thermal fuse has very low count. What should continuity be for this part be. Dryer works but has no heat. How is the thermal fuse removed from its position so it can be replaced?
Answer Hello Terra. The thermal fuse WP3390719 should read closed for continuity. If it were bad, the dryer would not run. Check and make sure you have 240 volts coming to the dryer. Check and make sure the unit is not set to Air Fluff. You will need to test both wires going to the heater (isolated) and see where your loosing power at. You will trace the wire that is dead and see if it is the motor 279787 or the timer WP8299771. You can test these with a multi-meter MA-DM1. They should read closed for continuity. Here is a link on how to use a multi-meter. Hope this helps. http://forum.appliancepartspros.com/oven-repair-including-ranges-cooktops/4810-how-check-continuity-ohmmeter.html Read More...
