Caleb N. for Model Number maytage dryer dg303 Hi, the dyer igniter starts and the flame comes on and warms up for about 30 seconds and then shuts off and comes on 30 seconds again and goes off repeatedly. whats going on?
Answer Caleb, The first check to make is at the exhaust vent pipe and hood, A clogged vent system can cause the dryer to overheat and cycle the hi limit switch in a very short time period. Also remove the lint filter and remove any lint that has accumulated in the duct. If the burner cycles off in 30 seconds with the vent disconnected from the dryer, you'll need to check or replace the thermostat(s) WPY304475 or WP303395 Read More...
