Tracey for Model Number KDTM354ESS3 Water is coming in sounds like it want to wash but it just does nothing. Not sure how much should be in the bottom but the water does make it to the float, but the float does not rise. I drain it turned the power off then back on nothing. Could my lower arm be clogged. We have a water softener and whole house water filtration system. This dishwasher is just three years old. Second time it has stopped on us.
Answer Tracey, it is possible that the lower wash arm W11553338 is clogged up and this can be checked. Another check that can be done is checking to ensure there is not a clog in the sump that could be preventing water flow through the circulation pump W10902589. If there is a clog in the sump, or an item preventing the impeller W10783130 from rotating properly, it would need to be cleared and the appliance tested. If there are no clogs and the impeller is not damaged, it is likely that the circulation motor has failed if it is receiving 120VAC from the main control W11341628. Read More...
