How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP6327227 / 5304514670 Main Control Board

My dishwasher (Frigidaire Gallery) that we bought just over a year ago (11/20/2014) started to make a percolating noise when I would shut the door. It turned out that it was the motor running. Keeping the door open prevented it from starting up. I replaced the control board and now it runs as it should! 

Took apart dushwasher front panel and replaced the control board with one I ordered from appliance parts pros. 

Replaced control board and that fixed issue! Also replaced vent assembly due to occasional water leak . Old one showed signs where water leaked past the seal. New one had same design so hopefully will perform better 

After reading a story about a women who had the identical dish washer and identical problem, I see she had to replace this control board to fix the problem, So I ordered the board and replaced and the problem was fixed. We dod not use the dish washer very much, It was installed in 2007 and I couldn't believe I had to replace this expensive part to fix the problem. But it's fixed. 

I ordered a mother board.

I figured out it was the Main Control Board. Looked for the best price and found it at AppliancePartsPros.com. Not only that. They had a clear video of how to install it. A fun fix 

Replaced the control board, 20 minutes! This is not a difficult repair. I am a DIY guy but I am usually not a big appliance guy, until now. You will kick yourself if you don't do it yourself. Easy repair: 10 screws and some wire connections! 

Replaced part. 

Removed door (8 screws) where the control board is attached. Removed wires to the old board and removed 4 screws holding it down. Cleaned all remaining moisture from the inside of the door and installed the new control board. Conducted a function check of the touch pad, which worked without any malfunctions or errors. Total job took 15-30 minutes.
