The washer was part of a stackable unit, so most of the time and work was getting the gas dryer off of the washer. Once screws were loosened, we lifted it off and placed it on a stool so we did not have to lift it from the floor again. Once the top of the washer was opened, removing the old control board was quite simple and straightforward. The wiring was attached to the back of the old board using plug in cable wraps, so we broke the old board open, squeezed the ties out using needle nosed pliers and they attached easily to the new board. Reassembly was simply reversing the whole process.
