How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP5306484 / 316560118 Control Board

Guess it was a code for store/floor display mode. The husband had pushed too hard on the electronic interface front so it hung by one screw. Gentle use allowed function for 3 years. Then we shut off the electricity because could not shut off the oven light. Plug back in, no oven pre-heat, no oven. Sent for the part, and used the internet; a very knowledgeable lady on your end when I couldn’t see what part #20-a meant. She explained about a sticky faceplate. Plugged in wires when the part came the next day, voila, I can cook the turkey! 

I changed out the EOC . And problem went away . It said E11 code . Witch means to change out the EOC . Works perfect . Super fast shipping . Thanks guys !!! 

Ordered new part on Saturday, part shipped on Monday, received it on Tuesday, very fast service, the best ! Watched a you tube video, done in under an hour and that was going slow…overall easy fix. Certainly a lot cheaper than buying new range,! 

It was an easy fix. I unscrewed the old controller from the stove and disconnect the wires and then attached the new faceplate to the new controller and plugged the controller up with the wires and attached the controller to the stove and turned the breaker back on. The only thing I had to do was set the time and test the new product. Everything works fine now. 5 year old appliance. No visible issues with the buttons of the old controller. I pulled the faceplate off. Not sure what the issue was with the old one but it was an easy fix and saved myself a couple extra hundred dollars by not having a repair man come out and do it for me. 

Took off old control board and replaced with new. 

I unplugged the original piece from the stove and replaced it with the new one and it worked perfectly. 

Looked up part on Appliancepartspros.com, (3 minutes) Ordered on same website, (1 minute) Got part in 2days, installed in 10 minutes And saved over $200 on labor Thank you!!!
