How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP5306484 / 316560118 Control Board

Googled code read a possible problem. Ordered part replaced control switch. 

Replaced mother board and face plate. 

Replaced the old control board with a new one 

Using your video instructions it was a very easy fix. Took me 15 minutes to replace the unit. The part arrived late Saturday and I couldn't find the correct gas flex hose until Monday. 

10 min.is all it takes. All you need is a 1/4" nut driver and a fillips screwdriver. I was quoted $470.00 by a local repairman. It cost $190.00 for the parts here and 10 min. of my time. 

The fix took less than 10 minutes! Disconnect the power and move the range from its location just far enough to access all the bolts. Remove panel, and disconnect all electrical connections to the controller. Remove controller by removing the 4 screws. It is best to get the new touch panel, as it will be too difficult to remove the old one from a the controller. Install in the reverse order. Problem solved and now a happy wife! 

Ordered the new Control Board with a matching overlay to replace it. I would suggest buying a new overlay as the old one did not want to come off the old board without getting damaged. I replaced this myself in about 30 minutes with zero previous experience on ovens. I would compare it to changing a car stereo except 10Xs easier. Remove the back panel, unplug 5 cords, plug 5 cords into new control board.You should be able to replace yourself. Appliancepartspros delivery was super quick, I think it took just over a day from pressing order to having it on my doorstep. 

Ordered parts replaced and just like new oven works! 

Replaced control board. Board was suppose to ship same day but didn’t ship until three days later. Took ten days to get board. I was very disappointed. The one good thing is, I found the part cheaper on another website and appliance parts pros matched the cheaper price.
