How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4019644 / 154580301 Drain Pump Assembly

We used the instructions on your website. Very great instructions, we now have a working dishwasher. Yay! 

Found the exact pump needed on APP.com website. Clicked on the video which had helpful tips in removing the old pump. Job went perfectly and Boom! The dishwasher worked "like a pro". 

Went to appliancepartspros.com, put in the model number. Watch a short video, ordered the part and when the part came, 15 minutes later the unit was running like brand new. 

Ordered part, received in less than 5 days. Watched video once and installed in less than 15 minutes. 

I first troubleshot the drain inside and checked the drain hose. Cleaned strainers eat. Then returned to AppliancePartsPros with the subject above and boom. Installed new drain pump and we are back in business. The gasket is next. 

Installed new pump, which was a perfect fit. The biggest problem I had was the installation was hard wired into the appliance. So, finding the correct breaker took some time. Then the water valve would not close. But once those issues were resolved. The part was the exact replacement and only took a few minutes to exchange.

Replaced drain pump and rerouted drain hose. 

I looked up the dishwasher model number on the appliance parts pros website and they took me right to the correct pump. Part number was different from the original and any I found online. But this was the only one I could find that would fit. Thank you!
