How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP4019644 / 154580301 Dishwasher Drain Pump Assembly

New pump which came with a new flapper valve. Took the old one off and it was definitely the issue with the flapper valve. 

Great timing for a failure! I started to look for a replacement dishwasher on December 26th. No one, within a 20 mile radius had what I wanted in stock with an expected 10 - 14 day delivery if I ordered one new. After reading so many reviews of new dishwashers, I thought I would be better off repairing/replacing the pump in my Frigidaire. (It cleaned well, dried well and left no spots.) Pulled the dishwasher out, removed the pump to find a part number, went to my old friend "Google" which brought me to AppliancePartsPros. My pump was delivered in two days...about 40 minutes to install and remount my dishwasher and it's as good as new. Funny thing is, the dishwasher is now quieter than it's ever been! (I've lived in this house for 10 years.) Very happy with the replacement pump part and the expedited service! Thanks!

Very simple repair. The old drain pump sounded like it was grinding glass. The new one is just a smooth, soft hum. Follow the directions in the online video by AppliancePartsPros.com. Repair is very easy with just a pair of pliers and a slotted screwdriver. 

I replaced the drain pump. 

Saw troubleshooting guide, watched the video and determined which part needed replacement. Ordered the part and followed the instructions. The video was very accurate and easy to follow. 

Replaced the pump and cleaned the dishwasher and all pipes and hoses. 

I saw your demo and ordered the part. I installed it easily. 

Ordered part, came in a couple days. Took about 25 minutes to install. Very easy!
