How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP5690431 / A00126401 Drain Pump Assembly

Replaced motor according to the repair video provided 

I installed a new drain pump. It was simple and easy. The videos and ease of ordering parts made it a breeze. 

Changed out drain pump 

Purchased a new pump. 

Ordered the drain pump assembly and watched the video on how to put it on. Was done it less than 10 minutes. Note: make sure before working on it that you have the correct 20 sized star screwdriver. Not a part of normal screwdriver kits. Worked right away and is good to go so far. If you live in ND,SD or MN or any other area where it gets -1 or colder and it freezes your pipes, DO NOT try running your dishwasher till ALL areas of house are defrosted. Our pump was frozen and that is why it broke in first place as all water does not drain completely from any dishwasher and pump is lowest part of dishwasher, 

Replaces drain pump 

Went ahead and replaced the discharge pump to the dishwasher.It is very simple to do. 

Ordered new pump ,replaced it( only three screws holding it in) , works fine 

I ordered a new drain pump from AppliancePartsPros.com,an easy process.Enter brand name and model number and you're there.(1)I turned the breaker off for my dishwasher.(2)I turned off the water supply to dishwasher.(3)I removed the the lower panel from dishwasher.(4)I removed the drain line from dishwasher.(5)I removed the water supply line from dishwasher.(6)I removed electrical box cover from dishwasher.(7)I removed the wire nuts and copper ground wire screw from dishwasher.(8)I removed the 2 screws attaching the dishwasher to the counter top.(9)I removed the dishwasher from under the counter and laid it on its side on a towel.(10)I unplugged 2 wires on drain pump.(11)I removed 3 hex head screws attaching the drain pump to the dishwasher and removed drain pump.(12)I cleaned out any bits of plastic from old pump in cavity.(13)I lubricated the "o" ring on new pump with vaseline to ensure an easy and even fit.(14)I reversed this process to install new pump and dishwasher.It took about 40 minutes.
