How to Troubleshoot & Replace Frigidaire AP5690431 / A00126401 Drain Pump Assembly

They had the part and their video made the repair very easy. I just ordered another part for the dishwasher. I will use them again and again 

Replaced the pump with a new one

We ordered a pump from you. It arrived a day before it was supposed to come. A nice surprise! It was fairly easy to replace the pump, and the video was helpful. Pump worked and we are happy. Thank you for great service all around. 

Last year our disposal went bad, creating a clog in our drain line. We blew that clog out, had a repair person come in to replace disposal. All was great for a few months, but then there it was again, water left in the bottom after the wash. So, we checked it all out - no clog. I decided that we must need a new pump assembly. The repair was quick and the video with Simon made it possible. Thanks! 

First cleaned screens then checked the drain system. Next I replaced the drain pump. 

Removed all gunk from the bottom of the dishwasher and removed the drain hose from where it attaches to the drain pipe and blew through it to make sure it wasn't clogged. It wasn't. The dishwasher went through all cycles but failed to drain. The drain pump impeller had a piece of broken glass jammed in it, preventing it from turning. Replacing a $40 part sure beats replacing a $400 dishwasher.
