Oscar P Memphis , TN June 30, 2022 Appliance: Frigidaire Refrigerator FGHC2331PFAA The damper was stuck open. Which caused the fresh food side to freeze. I replaced the User Interface because the digits were no longer visible. I found a video on Youtube for the diagnostics test procedure. The actuator motor was making a noise like it was trying to close the damper but it was not closing. I removed the damper and took it apart. Turns out it had ice buildup inside the gearbox. Tim H Clovis , CA August 20, 2021 Appliance: Frigidaire Refrigerator FGHC2331PFAA The display had partial characters and ice chute flap would open but no ice would come out. These 2 parts were easy to replace. I just had to make sure to note the different wire harnesses and where they connected to on the old vs new parts.
