How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3860586 / WB27T10760 Keypanel Support Assembly (Black)

Disconnected ribbon cable to keypad to make sure that was the problem - it was. Ordered the part and had it delivered in 2 quick days. Easy repair, just required removing several nuts holding on the panel and then disconnecting the ribbon cable. Probably less than 30 minutes for the whole replacement. 

Got a new touchpad from you and installed it in minutes. Boom fixed. The part showed up the next day from ordering. 

Disassemble the controls and find the exact part numbers for each item. Mine were in fine print and hard to read. I ordered parts that arrived in 4 days. Took about 45 minutes to transfer connecting wires from old control panel to the new one. Finally powered up and the oven works perfectly. 

Using the website, I looked at the schematics and guessed which parts I'd need. I chatted with an associate, who confirmed the requirements. He also sent a PDF on how to take the old parts off. I'm not mechanically inclined, but the effort went flawlessly. Thanks for the parts and help! 

I replaced the control board and keypanel.since I didn't know which was the culprit and I only wanted to go in one time. Easy fix

Replace the Keypanel on a GE stove. The parts came quickly and they matched perfectly. 

The fix went perfectly. The replacement parts were exact. 

New keypad-control panel. 

Used YouTube to diagnose problem. Called AppliancePartsPros.com to look up number of faulty Keyboard Ct Board. They not only looked up the part number but verified the problem was the circuit board. They were courteous quick and efficient. I ordered the part that afternoon, with regular shipping it came the very next morning. I put the part in and it work perfectly.
