How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP4363671 / WB03K10265 Knob Assembly

Purchased new. 

Unbelievably the factory supplied knobs had a plastic film around them to show spark and flame settings. When the broiler was on the heat caused the film to pucker. Still useable but not nice. Then the internal tip at the end of the knob cracked. Initially, I repaired it with electrical tape. But that was only a short term fix. Getting a proper knob was the answer. Wow, I should have done this years ago! We are so happy now. These knobs should have been supplied in the beginning. Thank you AppliancePartsPros.com. 

The original cheap plastic knobs finally all broke. Ordered new one for my GE Profile range. Appliance Parts Pros had my range model number in their system so I ordered all six knobs. They are all metal, much heavier and sturdy but pricey at about $50 per handle but were a little less expensive than the same exact knobs at the GE website. Handles came within a week and were easy to install … just push them on. I dealt with Appliance Parts Pros before on repair parts for a washer and that was a good experience also. 

Purchased metal replacement knob. Easy to remove original and replace. 

Searched for GE parts online. Found AppliancePartsPros with competitive prices for the replacement knob assembly. Ordered two, and the knob assembly units arrived within two days. It was very easy to pull off the broken unit and slide on the replacement unit. 

Ordered new ones. Fit fine and are metal! 

Removed old cracked knob easily and replaced it with the new knob. Delivery was on time from Appliance Parts Pros. Would order from them again. 

Wife was baking and oven failed. Turned off power to the range. Removed two mounting screws and then the two electric wire screws. Got my ohm meter out and checked for continuity. Element was burnt open, not visible to the eye. Replaced element. Luckily the element was on sale. A good deal. Sons wife broke knob to range. Replaced. A expensive knob. Amazed how fast parts came. Less than 24 hours using standard shipping.
