How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP5780496 / WD28X10410 Upper Dishrack Assembly

Ordered new racks. 

Used instruction video on YouTube video to install upper rack. Perfect instructions! 

My dishwasher over time stopped cleaning dishes and cups well. I thought running a cleaning agent through it would resolve the issue and that did not work. We used some home remedies that others have tried and that didn't work.. instead of junking a 5 year old dishwasher I went to appliance parts pros and found replacement parts for the guts of the dishwasher that included all new sprayers bottom, middle and top as well as new trays for top and bottom and on my first run we realized our dishwasher was new again... Thank you appliance parts pros it could not of been any easier and you saved me from buying a replacement 1800.00 dishwasher... One final note the replacement trays are better quality than the originals... 

I easily ordered the dishrack assemblies online from Appliance Parts Pros. I received the parts in record time and was able to install them myself. Online video was very helpful with the installation. 

Replaced it with one I ordered from Appliance Parts Pros. However the rack I received was bent in the right front corner and it looks like it was painted after the bending. It does not effect the use of the rack, but i think these things should be caught at the warehouse before sending it out. 

The replacement part I ordered through Appliance Part Pros worked exactly as promised. The original part was discontinued and replaced with a newer, slightly different part. The installation instructions, especially the video online, was super helpful and I was able to successfully install the new part. Shipping was really fast. I would definitely use this site again. 

Ordered new ones 

I ordered new racks which came the next day and put then in according to the instructions. It was very easy, took about 15 minutes. Of course I am a mechanical wizard so it might take a novice a bit longer. Just kidding, it was very easy and it loos and works great now. 

Replaced the racks with new ones. The replacement racks were not exactly the same but the functioned the same or better. 

Bought upper rock, lower rack, and silver ware rack. I reviewed online videos how to clean out the sump and jets in my GE monogram dishwasher. This was very useful to have done prior to receiving my new racks. Once the racks came, it was very simple to install. The cost was much less than going directly through GE
