How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP3860678 / WB30T10099 Radiant Element

Crimped connector 

Turn off power, raise top, remove and replace element, reverse steps. 

Simple unhook connectors and reattach. 

Ordered the Large Haliant Element; upon receipt I popped the top open on the range and took a couple of pictures, with my cell phone, of how the old element was wired and mounted to the top. Then took out the old element and put the new one in and connected the wires per the pictures. Total replacement time was about one-half hour. However, I forgot to connect the main lines to the range - a problem that surfaced when I went to test the units and found that none of them worked! Had to then reopen the top and connect the main lines, thus adding another 5 minutes to the install.

My first experience using AppliancePatrsPros.com & it was amazing! Spent a couple minutes on the phone with sales tech who emailed me the YouTube installation instructions. Ordered the new burner on line for $50 less than my local appliance store was asking. Burner arrived in 2 days. The appliance store wanted 7-10 days to get it in, then I'd have to drive 15 miles each way to pick it up.
