At first, after research, I ordered the replacement board. At the same time, I upgraded from hard-wired electric to a junction box and plug. Upon testing the plug, I discovered the old PCB “woke up” and resumed regular use. I considered returning my replacement PCB purchase. But first I consulted with AppliancePartsPros. They advised that my PCB symptoms were a known issue and likely to recur. They also advised that my part return eligibility lasts for 1 year. This was GREAT advice. I stored by new PCB for six months and continued to put up with the intermittent wake-up chime at all hours. Finally, that old board gave up the ghost. My stored PCB board was ready to go. My biggest hurdle to complete the repair was a shortcut whereby instead of removing the dishwasher to access the board, I simply swam on the kitchen floor to affect the replacement. Of note, I lack fine motor skills due to a neurological disorder. No quitting here. 4 hours of swimming and resting later, the dishwasher is cleaning as I type this review.
