How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP7215773 / WD21X24901C Service Machine Control

I install it and nothing happened, so I removed the new panel and replaced it with the old panel. I then called your facility and spoke with a young lady and she told me to press the Select Cycle and the start buttons and hold for 5 seconds. I did that and the Dishwasher started up. I ran a cycle and all is good, Thanks to this young lady from your facility. 

Took a bunch of YouTube videos to figure out the diagnostics. But the Elec Control Board showed up in less than 48hrs and I installed it in 30 min. Back in service. 

I ordered a new Electronic Control Board and swapped it out. Easy to do but since it's tucked up under the dishwasher. It took me a while to get my fingers on the various plugs to pull them off. Once off, easy to change out the old for the new. The plugs reinserted easily. 

I replaced the Electronic Control Board. 

After doing some research with the error code 815 I knew one of the boards was the culprit. However, I wasn't sure if it was the main board or the user interface board. When I read comments here and what others were experiencing with the dishwasher beeping and the code 815 showing up where the minutes usually are, others pointed to the main board as the culprit. I usually don't like to throw parts at a problem unless I am fairly confident that will solve the problem. I'm glad I did. The dishwasher is back working as it should with only a few basic tools. Just be careful unplugging connectors and take your time. 

I ordered a replacement Electronic Control Board and replaced the malfunctioning control board in our GE Adora dishwasher. 

Your website had a post on October 14, 2022 with a repair clinic video. After reading several blog posts, it sounded like I need a control board. (The dishwasher died the week before Thanksgiving and a repairman could not be scheduled until November 30th). I ordered the CB and fooled the helpful video. I had trouble removing CB from the pins and replacing the insulation and final cover. One of the plastic pins was broken so the board was a little loose. I had to get longer screws to put on the cover and my body was sore from being upside down on the floor for hours. My dishwasher did work on Thanksgiving Day! Thank you! I had never used a nut driver, etc. 

Replaced the control board in the dishwasher. 

After checking all the possible issues I read about online - making sure float was clear and working. Water supply ok. Etc. I thought it had to be the main ElectronicControl Board. Especially Because the first two weeks, it was acting up I could shut off power and turn it back on and it would work. Ordered the part Video for installation was easy. Had a working dishwasher in 30 min. All was right in the world again. Lol 

Checked out the YouTube video, and the removal was straight forward. Remove Bottom Plate; 2 screws securing Control Board mount frame; unclip several wire harness connectors; remove AC inlet cover; Remove control board and frame, then replace new control board on frame; Install in reverse order.
