How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP6993956 / WD19X25187 Dishwasher Drain Pump And Motor Kit

Replaced with pump from appliancepartspros.com. 

Replaced the drain pump. 

I replaced the flood switch and drain pump and it works well now. 

The pump kit was an easy install, pull the unit out from under the cabinet. I lucked out and the two hoses were long enough that I did not even need to unhook them. Laid the dishwasher on its back so it wouldn't leaks since there was still some water in it. Two hose clamps and one electrical connector and the new one was in. Reinstalled under cabinet and done. 

Ordered a new one it worked great. 

I found and ordered the part from AppliancePartsPros. It arrived in less than 48 hours. The electrical harness wasn't compatible with the existing one, but I called customer support and they suggested splicing the new wire with the existing ones. This worked, and with the help of the video tutorial I was able to complete to repair in about an hour or less. I was very happy with the website, support and product!

Ordered drain pump kit using information from the website. A great feature of the website is cross-reference using the model number and confirming the ordered part is the correct one. Received the part Fed Ex in a few days as promised. I removed and replaced the drain pump after viewing the Appliancepartspros YouTube tutorial which was very helpful. Completed all connections as required & tested the dishwasher. Successful repair - Happy DIY customer! 

Went fine, but we were hampered by the fact that there were absolutely no written directions. How does that happen? The video on your site was very well done and helped a lot, but there was no mention of the electrical “converter” part, so it took us a few minutes to figure that out. Bonus: I now have three new hose clamps that were not needed in the repair.
