How to Troubleshoot & Replace Ge AP2044614 / WH1X2117 Timer Knob Clip

Order a replacement dial and control knob from Appliance Parts Pros and replaced according to their helpful instructional videos. The parts were perfect replacements and easily replaced, working exactly as they should. The parts were shipped amazingly fast and with complete satisfaction. Replace timer knob assm 

Replaced timer and associated knob and indicator dial. 

I watched the really helpful videos on this site. Unscrewed the chassis, swapped the timer, swapped the control knob - BAM! All set. I wish I knew the new control knob came with its own clip instead of buying a second one. Oh well. This was a lot cheaper than paying a repairman. 

I replaced the the backsplash and put all the switches back into it. -- worked out great - no problem now--- you guys have a great site --thank you-- fast deliver like promised!!!

It can't be fixed, the only way is replaced a new one control knob, it turns greats now. 

I ordered a new timer knob from Appliance Parts Pros. The knob came with a clip and shipment was quick. I watched a video showing how to start the replacement of the knob. I used a pliers to pull out the timer shaft. With the information the replacement process was fairly easy and short.
