How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP5675953 / AEQ73110205 Icemaker (14 Cube)

Replaced with a new icemaker. 

I had tried ordering twice from an aftermarket supplier and they couldn’t get the order correct. I’m guessing someone filled their bins incorrectly. After the failed attempts I googled replacement ice makers and found your website. I reluctantly placed my order and about 4 days later I received the correct replacement. I called your customer support and spoke with a representative named Ken. The replacement I got was a 14 cube instead of 12 cube which created questions in my mind of how it was going to know to fill the additional cubes. Ken dug till he got the correct answer. It’s an updated bigger, better piece of equipment than the original. I have nothing but good things to say about you all at this point. It took me about 20 minutes to replace it myself and your video was also very helpful. Ken also took notes and thanked me for bringing this to his attention as he was unaware of it. 

I ordered the new part two times from another company and both times it was the wrong part. After they told me it would work. I'm having a problem getting my money back from them. I called AppliancePartsPros.com and customer service was great. I told them the problem I had with the other company and the icemaker I was ordering I was assured that this icemaker was the correct one. I ordered it and it arrived in two days. I doubled-checked it with my old unit and it looked the same. I installed it in 20 min and it is working great. Thank you guys for working with me. You have a new customer. 

Found and ordered replacement ice maker for my Kenmore refrigerator. Part arrived within a few days, watched video and installed...I now have ice. Just a little trial and error to get the wire connectors in the right place so everything fit correctly. Piece of pie.... 

Ordered a replacement. It was defective (water in ice tray would dump out right after being filled). Called AppliancePartsPros.com call center and a gentleman by the name of Mark E. upon hearing my problem, was very helpful in getting me a 2nd replacement part out me the very next day. By this time, disassembling the ice maker was a lot easier and faster since my husband was now gaining some experience at it. . Thank you Mark E. for your great service. The icemaker works perfectly. 

We purchased a new ice maker from AppliancePartsPros.com. The ice maker was well wrapped and it came very quickly. My guy, Joe, took out the old ice maker and plopped in the new. Presto! Ice again! We are very happy! 

I shopped for the part and AAP was the only one that sold this part separately and supplied a very easy instruction video. We didn't quite get it right the first time but it is now fixed and we are making ice! That video saved me a $250 service call. Thank you APP 

I replaced the ice maker unit. 

Easy fix , unplugged two harnesses and 3 screws. Plugged in harnesses on new icemaker put screws back in.job done 

I ordered a new icemaker. Delivery was very quick. The new icemaker was an exact match. Installation took about 15 minutes. Have lots of ice now.
