How to Troubleshoot & Replace Lg AP7206830 / AGM30063309 Dryer Gas Valve Assembly

I replaced it with a part from you guys that fit exactly. 

Replaced the gas burner valve assembly. 

I took it apart enough to see if the igniter was working. It was getting red Hot so I figured it had to be the gas supply not coming on. I ordered a Gas gas valve and installed it using the video provided by Appliance Parts Pros. After installing it and putting it back together it started heating again and drying the clothes like it is supposed to.

I watched the video about troubleshooting gas dryers and one of the symptoms you described was the burner coming on for a short time then going out, with long periods of time between cycles. You said more than likely this was a sign that the coil valves on the gas burner were not working properly and needed to be replaced. My model dryer required that I replace the whole valve, so I replaced the gas burner valve. This solved my problem, and it was very simple to follow along with the repair video on this site. Thank you Appliance Parts Pros for all of your help. Your videos are great!! 

I read some customers reviews on the problem. And basically ordered a high-limit t-stat, new gas valve and a few other safety parts. Installed all the new parts, and problem solved!! All parts ordered were about $200. I would have spent double that or more had I called a licensed repair person. Plus the how-to videos, made that much easier to fix!! It took me about 1 1/2 hrs. to install. Thanks will definitely be order from you again!!
