Replaced rotor: Tools used: Phillips screwdriver, 14mm offset boxend wrench. Thread-lock compound.
1. Disconnect hoses and power.
2. Remove four Phillips screws from rear access panel, lift panel slightly, pull bottom of panel slightly away from washer, and pull panel down to remove it all the way.
3. Use wrench to remove bolt from center of rotor. Bolt was very loose.
4. Carefully pull rotor from drive shaft, wiggling slightly while applying steady pulling force. Magnets in rotor will try to pull rotor back onto the shaft.
5. Clean shaft before installing replacement rotor on shaft.
6. Apply thread locking compound to bolt thread before inserting and tightening it in the center of rotor. Tighten by having a helper hold the drum while you tighten the bolt. spin the drum to make sure it moves freely with the new rotor in place.
7. Reinstall the access panel in reverse order of removal.
8. Attach hoses and plug in power cord.
9. Run "rinse and spin" cycle to test repair.
