How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP5669739 / DC97-16350E Washer Suspension Rod

I replaced all four Suspension Rod Supports. The video was very helpful. I am glad I looked at it before I started the job. the whole job took less than 30 minutes. The washer now works like new. I could see no visible damage on the old supports. it seems that the springs get worn out but are not detectable to the naked eye. 

Watched the video on You Tube like recommended. Ordered the parts on a Friday at 11 am and had them at my door by 1pm on Saturday. Fastest order I've ever received. Damper rods went in with ease. Done on under 20 minutes. 

Samsung washing machine model WA456drhdsu/aa, had to replace the water pump after six months due to a bad design. After I replaced the water pump I started having issues with the spin cycle throwing a dc error code and shutting down. I saw appliance parts pros video on you tube on replacing damper parts. I replaced all four damper parts as recommended and the washer works as if it were brand new. It took fifteen minutes like they said. You will need a putty knife, Phillips screwdriver, and a little bit of lithium grease and maybe some disposable gloves. An easy and cheap fix thanks to AppliancePartsPros.com. Thank you guys so much. Saved me a lot of money and time! 

Replaced 4 suspension rods and running like new again! 

4 New dampening rods and 10 minutes later washer spins like new 

I replaced the four washer suspension rods, something I have done previously on other brands of washers. Three of the four rods were relatively easy to replace. However, Samsung, in its infinite wisdom, decided to coil a water line around the right rear suspension rod, which made removal of the old rod and installation of its replacement much more difficult than it should have been. If I'd had a larger area to work in I would have spun the washer around and removed its back panel to make snaking the rods out of and back through the water line easier, but I managed to get the job done in the limited space available to me in a very tiny laundry room. I performed this repair without assistance, but a second pair of hands would have made the job a lot easier. 

Replaced all four of them. They were expensive for what they are, but fixed the problem. 

Replaced the tub suspension rods. 

I installed new Suspension Support Rods. 

This is the 2nd time in 5 years I have replaced these rods in the washer I bought used. It was also the 1st time I had used the AppliancePartsPros site. Not only was the issue easy to troubleshoot with this site the parts were a click away. Once I received the items used the link to install the video, and boom it worked perfectly. I have used this site now for my dryer several times, my dishwasher, and again for my washer rods once they again wore out. Rods issue seems to be a Samsung defect, they only last a few years. Only complaint would be the 1st time I purchased the rods they were around 100 bucks for all 4, but this time they were well over 300, which begged the question if I should just replace washer. But it’s still cheaper to fix and get another 5 years out of. Great company and site.
