How to Troubleshoot & Replace Samsung AP4171999 / DA96-00020Q Evaporator Assembly

Watched the video on your site and replaced it exactly as the video description 

Purchased the heater element and evaporator as it only comes in one unit. Removed the heater element and replaced the element without the evaporator so that no welding was required. Worked excellent, and was no trouble at all to remove just the heat element by itself. 

I checked all the defrost components in my refrigerator and I notice the defrost heater element it was short it out , I mean completely burned out... So I ordered the evaporator ensemble and I and replace it, it wasn't easy but thank God Iam a A/C refrigeration technician and now the refrigerator is working like brand new... Also I was so impressed with the quick delivery of the parts. 

Replaced evaporator assembly with new part and took it apart to only replace defrost heater so that I could repair myself and not have to hire someone to sweat in refrigerant. 

Removed defrost heater from freezing coil assembly and replaced heater in refrigerator after melting ice off coil. Not too difficult but refrig gave different error codes at different times until part was installed. Learned that refrig fan only runs with door switches closed.
