Since you have to basically open the whole thing apart which is not really a big deal, I decided to replace all parts that may be involved: heating element, thermal fuse, thermistor, belt(optional).
The drier is about 10 years old so I figure that if I can get another 10 years out of it I will be doing OK. The video is definitely a big help in determining what to do. I would not recommend this repair to someone that does not have mechanical capabilities...and a few tools.
You'll need: 1/4" wrench or driver, Phillips, flat screw driver and needle nose pliers will help.
If you have never done this like me, I find that taking pictures as you take things apart will greatly help you putting them together later on, especially electrical connections and belt placement.
Parts were a perfect fit.
