How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6014731 / WPW10016550 Lower Blower Assembly

Swapped out the lower blower assembly. 

Ordered a new one from AppliancePartsPros.com. The cabinet mounted oven blower motor fit like it should. I ordered it on a Tuesday, and it was delivered on Wednesday. 

We ended up replacing the upper and lower blower-cooling circ fans, this was suggested by your company but I had already determined that I was going to replace both since I was going to pull the oven out to replace one anyways. The parts came as described and fit perfectly and now we have nice quiet oven again. We will use this company again for sure and I have already told friends. Happy Holidays! 

Removed the double oven from the wall, replaced cooling fan and reinstalled wall oven. This repair is very simple. Shut off breaker that powers the oven. Remove trim on front of oven. Remove mounting screws that hold oven in place. Get help for the double wall oven (can be done by one person but safer and easier with 2). Set oven on dolly. Remove rear covers on oven. Disconnect power connectors to fan. Remove fan mounting screws. Replace fan and reverse removal. 

Replaced with new blower fan assembly. The first one came and still rattled. Was sent a second one and that worked. Customer service was amazingly helpful! 

I ordered the fan and turned out to be the wrong one. Called customer service and they helped me with the correct one and I got it a couple days later. It is completely correct and it was really just plug and play. I took the old one out and new one in, and back into the wall. The new is whisper quiet I didn't even think it was working! Easy return on the incorrect fan as well. 

Using the model number of my Whirlpool combo oven, I looked up the part number for the lower blower assembly and also viewed the video showing how to do the repair. The repair video showed a Kitchen Aid appliance, but the part looked the same. So, I ordered the part and completed the repair with the help of a neighbor. My back cover plate was a little different than the video, but once removed, the blower assembly was the same. The video was very helpful. 

I got on your website and, after citing the problem, it led me to replacing the blower. I received the part in one day, and watched Simon’s remove and replace video. It took about an hour and a half, but easy to follow. Great website. 

Found a youtube vidio using my model number and watched to figure out what was wrong. Then ordered the new cooling fan and installed it the next day. 

Replaced the lower fan motor assembly. I thought the replacement would be a little quieter than my worn out original 20 year old fan. Instead, it sounds completely different, like I enabled stealth mode. I should have done this years ago.
