Ken W Randleman , NC September 30, 2021 Ice chute door was opening and closing and the front control panel was flashing. I replaced the electronic control board. The only real difficulty I had was pulling the refrigerator out of its place in the cabinet slot so that I could get behind it to access the control board. One trick you can use to slide an appliance on a wood floor is to spray Windex on the floor where you will slide. Just a little will do. Read More... David B Weems , VA April 10, 2021 Appliance: KitchenAid Refrigerator KFIS25XVMS3 High voltage control board failure. Came home from a week-long trip to find my 12 year old Kitchenaid frig dead. Troubleshooting on youtube determined the High Voltage Control Board at fault (Solid blue screen on door display when pressing any button). I've used Appliance Parts Pros (APP) before to fix an old dryer and had a great experience with that situation. They had the part for this issue where the local appliance store where I bought the frig did not have it in stock nor did their supplier. Ordered the part from APP which arrived in 2 days as promised. Install was simple but what really helped were the directions on APP's website for programing the board for this particular frig (the board is common across many brands). They were perfect. Had the frig up and running in about 15 minutes. Read More... Do-It-Yourself Rating: Repair Time Estimate: Less than 15 minutes Tools: Nut Drivers, Screwdrivers
