The control board is going bad.

We ordered a new Control Board and replaced it. So far all is well. No more issues with temp readout flashing and ice flap opening and closing on its own.

Fridge would not hold temp and controls were not functional. A lot of blinking and clicking.

First, went to Youtube to look for solutions. The most obvious was to go ahead and replace the control board. I first ordered from another source and then went back to read some of the reviews on that source. Also saw their address was a PO box. Many of the reviews mentioned their chat and phone lines were always busy. I called and found this to be true. I then cancelled the order and placed an order with Appliance Parts Pros. The part was shipped the same day and I received in three days. Easy installation but when I tried to enter the correct code # from the fridge, it didn't like. I called and received great assistance IMMEDIATELY. We worked through the issue and now I am a happy camper. The same day shipping and phone assistance were better than promised!

Ice maker door sorted opening and closing and the refer stopped cooling

I googled the symptoms, that led me to the website. I found others with the same symptoms and they all reported success with this replacement part. The website led me in that direction as well. I ordered the part and it arrived a few days later, however, the box had been damaged/opened and there was no packing material in the box. I installed the part in a few minutes with no issues and reprogrammed the unit using the instructions provided (thankfully still in the box!) the refrigerator works great, hopefully for another 15 years.

Control board went out no lights on panel and inside no ice no water.

Unplugging the unit I used a wrench to access the panel board on backside for unit. Made sure new panel looked like old panel and unplugged everything. Getting old board out was somewhat difficult. Only real issue I had programming it. Had to call and get a spec sheet to program.
