How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP5983563 / EDR3RXD1 Whirlpool Everydrop Refrigerator Water Filter 3

Ordered the replacement part from AP pros. Watched the YouTube demo on replacement and they did it. :) No problem. 

A very easy fix. 

Ordered and installed new filter. Filter arrived faster than expected. I was pleased. I've done this before. It was easy, about a 1 on a 1 to 10 difficulty scale. Instructions are on the box. Print is a little small but easy to follow. Very happy with my purchase. 

I ordered a bracket that holds the switches for the ice and water maker. The plastic pieces that held the switches in place were broken. I watched the video on the website and the install went very well and was easy! 

No longer being able to get a filter through Sears, I did an internet search and found Appliance Parts Pros. Ordered the filter they suggested, which came a few days later. I pulled out the old filter, put in the new one, which worked perfectly!! 

Ordered the filter and put it in. 

Ordered new icemaker & filter - I got someone else to install - very easy 

Watched online video. Easy step by step instructions. Only took 15 minutes and finished. So easy. 

Normally a tool is not required but due to the cap damage I needed to use a screwdriver and now that the cap is replaced a tool will not be necessary for my next filter replacement. 

Like most people I was reluctant to order the part I needed from the Internet. I have to admit that after keying in my model number, you provided such a simple informative video on how to repair my refrigerator I couldn't resist ordering the part from you. The price was such a bargain I also ordered a water filter. Now I understand that this may not always be the case, but you told me it would take about two days to receive it.....and that is exactly how long it took!!!! (Very happy about that). Would absolutely use your company again in the future. Even informed my brothers. Thanks again!!!!
