How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP5650269 / W10536347 Washer Drain Pump

Watched repair video which was outstanding step-by-step on how to replace bearings and tub seal went smoothly my washing machine is like a new one 

Replaced the drain pump. Watched the video from Appliance Parts Pros. Detailed video. So easy. It went as described. 

Ordered the right parts here. We also watched the video online that was with the ordered part. Wow, who would've thought it was easy to fix? Thank you for the online video! 

After I got my part from APP, I put the new one on in about 10 minutes with no problems...... 

Removed and replaced drain pump. Followed APP video step by step - very helpful! 

After doing a check on all systems, according to the manual, it seemed to be the drain pump. Arrived faster than any repair person would have. And it is fixed now. Will definitively come back here for parts. 

Replaced drain pump, removed washer back, removed three screws holding pump, removed wire connection, replaced pump. The only thing was I had to lean washer forward because it was full of water when I removed pump. You will get about a gal of water on floor. I was in basement next to drain so it was not a problem. The best thing to do would be to suck out the water with a vac. Total time to fix, about 10 min. Now washer works perfect the way it was when I purchased it. Thanks APP.
