Lid switch/latch was defective machine would not go into spin cycle after wash cycle because the latch would not engage to the lid strike

I replaced the lid switch/latch, along with the lid strike. The strike probably did not need replacing, but I replaced it just in case.

Machine failed to come on there were no lights / sounds.

Ordered Latch Switch and a new Lid Strike. Followed the very detailed video on replacing the parts, ordered them took about 15 minutes. Also I used CHAT and gave model and serial numbers to rep. and I was told which of the two different Latch Switches to order and which of the three videos to watch. very helpful.
