How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6005980 / WP2182179 Refrigerator Door Upper Closure Cam

Replaced the diffuser , pretty simple to replace. Replaced door cams as they were worn and the door was not closing on it's own . 

Followed the video on website. Made the change out simple. 

Replaced the bottom hinge 

Replaced door cams on the lower hinge. 

I installed the lower cam (2 pieces). Door now closed without effort. Just remember to empty the door first. 

I replaced lower hinge and door cam.Very easy with the help from video. 

Replaced both door cams and the upper hinge. The upper hinge was the more difficult piece to replace since it would not spin and unlock. I had to persuade it a little. Both old cams were ground smooth and broken. The new cams raised the door 1/4 to 3/8" so the door is held in the correct position. Works like new. Overall it was an easy fix. 

I replaced the upper and lower door cams. 

Replaced both cam pieces on the bottom of the door, and the bearing at the top. All is well now, works like new. 

First I watched your video which helped tremendously. I basically did the step by step as shown on the video and it took about fifteen minutes.
