How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6016779 / WPW10195623 Upper Dishrack Track

Simply attached the rack with two screws. Took less than 5 minutes 

New slide and it was a snap that you had to open and close, but getting the end snap open was a bit of a challenge, but it opened with a flat blade driver. Then it was less than a minute to fix. 

I called up your company and with the knowledgeable customer service staff they help me get the correct parts that I needed to fix it. The parts arrived within 2 days of my order. I fixed it Saturday morning still in my pjs before I cooked breakfast. I wish I had called months ago instead of dealing with a broken top rack. 

I was a little apprehensive about this part since it is not an exact replacement for the OEM part. But I got it because others on the web were saying that the OEM part breaks about yearly. This part went on easily and quickly and fit perfectly. And it seems more durable than the OEM part. I am very happy with this purchase. By the way, look for the installation video for this part. I watched it before I installed the part and it helped quite a bit. 

Installed new rails and guide assemblies 

Ordered new Slide rail 

Replaced dishwasher top rack rail and end cap.
