How to Troubleshoot & Replace Whirlpool AP6783993 / W11259786 Track, Assembly (Rh)

Replaced with new rail. 

I ordered the parts from AppliancePartsPros.com. They were quick to pick up by phone, very helpful in confirming what I needed to order and I received the parts in 2 days. One of the best customer service experiences I have had in a while! I removed the bottom panel and removed dishwasher from the wall and was able fix in 30 minutes total. 

We had replaced the left side bracket/slide a couple of years ago so we knew the process. It is a quick fix as long as you can easily pull out your dishwasher so you have access to the sides. Very doable for a homeowner to DIY. 

Ordered the new track from you, then installed it, works great! 

Ordered a new track and replaced the old one. 

Ordered a placement track. Needed to pull dishwasher out from under-counter installation. Not too bad a job. Just removed bottom panel (2 screws), disconnected water drain at sink (1 line clamp), turned off water at cutoff, and turned off power at breaker box. Disconnect 2 side mount screws and disconnected water supply line at bottom of dishwasher (easy, but may need slip wrench). Slide washer out. Disconnect 4 screws on side that hold old track (may need to reach under plastic sound deadener to access them). Remove track. Reverse the process to reinstall. Glad to see that the new track was redesigned to eliminate the spot welds that failed on the original track. 

Purchased new rails from AppliancePartsPros and did the repair myself. The screws that hold the track on are on the outside, sides of the dishwasher so it needed to be pulled out. The whole job took about 20 minutes. 

Pulled dishwasher out and replaced rails. 

Pulled dishwasher out beneath counter top. Unfortunately, some dishwashers do not allow enough distance to extract due to electrical wires, drain hose and water hose. Once pulled out 2 screws per side per track were removed then replaced on each track. 

The repair was surprisingly easy. I only had to slide the dishwasher out half way to reach the screws. It took a couple minutes per side and the job was done.
