I did a search of my Frigidaire model FDE336RES2 online. I came up with AppliancePartsPros.com and was amazed by the extreme high quality of the website. I looked at the comments that matched my problems. Checked out the DIY videos. Ordered all the parts needed to repair the dryer along with some others that were marginal. Followed the instructions while implementing some procedures I have used on other mechanical repairs such as with cleaning off glue. Disassembled the dryer. Cleaned up the parts in prep for the replacements. Replaced all the parts when they arrived (they got here in record time) and cranked up the dryer. Awesome! I have been working in the mechanical industry for years. When I consider repairing something, I consider a number of unintended consequences of my actions if I don't really know what holds something together or how it needs to be taken apart. With this project, the videos were excellent for preventing the unwanted expensive mistakes that happen when acting blindly. It was nothing like repairing giant crusher jaws used to crush raw materials. And it did not resemble anything like rebuilding an auto or motorcycle engine.
