One day, while trying to roast chicken on the convection roast setting, my Electrolux oven stopped heating properly. I tried the broil setting and the top electric heating element worked fine. Allow the cooktop to raise by removing the two screws that secures it on the underside of the front edge. Open the oven door to do this. Had to pull double oven and range top out from wall which involved removing the upper kitchen cabinet. Took the sheet metal off the back and had the socket swapped out in a couple of minutes. My old oven works like a charm! Read more
