The dryer would not start Dennis S. • Bangor , PA • December 05, 2014
Replaced the push to start switch and the thermal fuse. The dryer is 23 years old and is working fine since we replaced the parts that were recommended on your website. Even with the cost of next day delivery, our cost was way less than we would have paid to have a professional repairman do the job. All around excellent experience. Thank you.

Washer tub ring that snaps onto the top of the outer tub. It acts as the tub cover and splash guard, guiding water back into the tub and supporting inlet or dispenser fittings to help keep the rim area contained.
- Attaches to the top of the outer tub as the upper splash guard/tub cover
- Directs water back into the tub; supports inlet/dispenser nozzles, if equipped
- Maintains proper clearance around the spin basket
- Common replacement signs: cracks, broken locking tabs, splashing from the rim, or rubbing at the top opening
What's included: 1 tub ring Install notes:
- Disconnect power and water supplies before servicing
- Lift or remove the top panel to access the tub rim
- Release locking tabs and detach any hoses/nozzles from the old ring; transfer fittings if needed
- Seat the new ring evenly; ensure all tabs fully engage. Reassemble and run a test cycle to check for leaks/splashing

The spin cycle on my washing machine was not working due to a faulty door/lid switch Joseph D. • Mechanicville , NY • February 17, 2015
I ordered a door/lid switch kit and an actuator and replaced them both. I probably didn't need the actuator, but it probably didn't hurt to replace it. The only issue I had was that the switch didn't seem to fit that well when installed on it's own, along with the actuator. So, I used the plastic shield which I had, along with the switch and actuator, as well as the old screws, as the screws that came with the kit were not long enough to accommodate the switch, actuator, and...

Dryer drum was beginning to stall occasionally Dana J E. • San Marcos , CA • March 17, 2015
After shopping for a new Whirlpool Thin Twin Stack, Found appliance parts pros online and decided to take it apart to see if repair was a possibility. APPro's online instructions were easy to follow, in a couple hours it was apart, and I placed the order. Reg ground took a week from NY, so the laundry piled up that week. The parts arrived on Monday morrning, by afternoon the machine was running like new! The cause was the belt tensioner pulley had frozen. Replaced it, drum wheels,snap...

Washer was "dead" with a partially washed load and would not do anything Jimmy M. • Hopewell , VA • September 19, 2014
Researched this kenmore washer on-line and found the problem to be the lid switch. Saw a diagram on how to jump this switch by connecting a wire to both outside wires on the harness and voila! It worked! This is not a fix but it allowed me to finish the load of unwashed clothes and told me which part was bad (do not run washer jumped like this.......fire hazard!)
Ordered the lid switch and it was an easy repair. A $14.00 switch was a lot cheaper than a $450.00 washer. Thanks appliance parts...

Whirlpool dryer wouldn't run Scott M. • Orange , CA • October 03, 2014
I'd replaced the motor that I purchased here about a month ago. It worked fine for a few weeks, then it just stopped and wouldn't start. I searched on the Internet and found the 3 most likely culprits. Since the dryer is 24+ years old, I decided to just purchase all 3 and replace them. The dryer cycling thermostat was different than the original, so I didn't replace it. 20 minutes and I had the dryer thermal fuse and thermostat replaced and the dryer functioning.
I ordered the parts on...
