I ordered a refrigerator door hinge, hinge pin, and washer. The descriptions and pictures imply that these items are sold separately. However, the hinge I received was an assembly that included a pin and washer. I replaced the original hinge assembly with the new assembly, but the door still sagged (not as badly as before). I wasn’t sure where I could get parts for the fridge, Google brought me here. Super easy to look up model #’s and locate parts by type/location with the appliance map. I needed to change the racks and the doorstop. The racks were super simple. After receiving my new shelf I unscrewed the old meat drawer track from the unit. Using the same screws and track i was able to seamlessly attach both to the new shelf. My meat drawer fit perfectly and I was able to install the new shelf unit into my refrigerator within minutes. Read more

Had a friend who is an appliance repair tech. Replace the evaporator, the heater coil, and the filter/drier. Parts were soldered together and the compressor was put under vacuum. Then, charged with 5 oz. of refrigerant. The freezer works great now! Read more

Walk into the kitchen on 21 Sep. Eight year old Frigidaire refrigerator appears to be short cycling, controls are nonfunctional. Unplug it for a few minutes, plug it back in, appears to return to normal function. Return to kitchen half hour 45 minutes later it's short cycling again. I tried to find the model # in the refrigerator but it was worn off. I had to go to the internet to find the same refrigerator and pull that model # so I could use it to order the correct parts. When the parts came in they fit perfectly. I'm super stoked! Read more

First replaced defrost timer which tested OK - but reasonable price and easy to replace. When that did not fix the problem replaced the defrost thermostat and defrost heater. That fixed the problem. However all three parts tested OK ?? May have been a loose connection or intermittent problem with one of the parts. Final cost for all three parts was much cheaper than a service call!! Read more
