First I ordered new dishracks from KitchenAid/Whirlpool. However, they don't make the "flex row" tines anymore and there was, therefore, a big "hole" in the dishrack that arrived. I could fit a large pot in the space, but no dishes (they'd fall through). KitchenAid and Whirlpool don't even sell the parts anymore. But, to the rescue comes AppliancePartsPros.com. I was able to order the correct parts and put them in with no difficulty, once I viewed the very handy video.

1. To fix the leaks from around the door, I replaced the upper and lower door seals. These were purchased in a separate transcation, so they are not the parts shown here. The upper door seal worked as intended, but the lower seal would not stay in place on the lower edge of the door during a wash. Therefore I cleaned the grease and detergent off the old seal, and installed using silicone sealer/adhesive. The plastic edge pieces for the lower seal were supplied with the kit, and they installed...

I nearly shelled out for a new Kitchenaid when I remembered APP and entered my model # just for fun. The interactive diagrams and install videos showed where all the parts "should" be, mine were badly disintegrated, so I replaced the damaged ones and swapped out all of the other easily accessible seals and bearings (also gave it a good and very disturbing cleaning). My parts surprisingly arrived next day and for about $40, the dishwasher is quiet and works like new again.
