Both ovens work fine, just no display (gradually dimmed out over 15 years or so). The dispay board is easy access, the relay board on the other hand is very restricted. If I can get away with just replacing the display board I can be done in 10 minutes. Can I just replace the dispay board if everything else is working fine?

Jan January 10, 2014 for Model Number Thermador Double Wall oven (Convestion, Electric) The lower baking element of the upper oven recently "burnt out" (large 1" defect in element). I replaced it. Everything else in oven is working (including broiling element in upper oven, but the replaced lower element still not working. Do I need the "Thermador Oven Display Repair Kit 702451"? Is there any other trouble shooting to be done prior to buying this?
