Gio February 09, 2013 for Model Number SMW72ZS, 82020077 Oven sometimes does not heat up. I have to turn the boiler on for a few minutes then the convection oven will heat up. The door does not stay closed. I have to push on it and release the pressure slowly to keep the door closed and the light off.

1 Answer Hello Terry, There is no soldering involved with this kit. It is a case of removing and reinstalling the display and relay board. This should be fully explained in the instruction sheet. The only thing I stress besides making sure the power to the unit is off before beginning is to take a series of pictures with your cell phone from different angles to aid in the re-assembly procedure. I also try to only remove and transfer only one wire at a time to ensure that, not only all wires are reconnected, but that they get connected to the correct terminals before re-introducing power to the unit. Tom B January 13, 2013 for Model Number Thermador MED302 Thermador MED 302 Double Oven. Can not get the bottom oven do do ANYTHING. "Lower" button is not reactive to touch. "Oven light" button activates "Easy Cook", when "Easy Cook" is pressed it activates "Favorites". It appears with each touch on the lower portion of the panel it activates the button next to the one that was touched.

George W December 27, 2012 for Model Number SC302TB Display failed on my Thermidor double oven ages ago and I've lived with it but now wish to repair. My concern is that it is a double oven yet the diisplay unit has printed on it "SINGLE OVEN DISPLAY'. Its CN# is 14-38-995. Is your replacement part 702451 the correct part. Cant remember whether the lower oven display ever worked but there is no plug-in wire attached to that side of the touchscreen, and no disconnected wire found. Hope you can help.
