The Venturi Gas Tube is an OEM replacement part for Bosch gas cooktop ranges. Its primary function is to ensure an optimal gas/air mixture for consistent and efficient burner combustion, thereby enhancing the overall performance of the cooktop.

Causes involve normal wear of internal components from continuous heating and cooling cycles. Corrosion damage may also disrupt the venturi tube over time.

Symptoms of a faulty venturi gas tube include:

  • Unstable or hard-to-control flame levels
  • Potential issues shifting burner flames out of their intended position
  • Safety risks including carbon monoxide from improper fuel/air balance

This OEM Bosch part is also compatible with Thermador, Gaggenau and some Kenmore models.

Hello Julie. The model number will have to be verified on the units I.D. tag since the one listed came up invalid. This will be necessary to look up and specific parts such as the one you requested. Thank you for your patience and understanding in this matter. We will need your model number to help you with this. Please call 1-877-477-7278 or post your model number with a new question on the parts page. http://www.appliancepartspros.com/modelnumber_locator.aspx

Bruce, A socket would most likely work the best for trying to get the venturi out. If it proves difficult you could try to add heat to it to allow the metals to expand a bit and see if this would help to get it out.

Itneverends for Model Number GGSCV365W

A pot was spilled on this unit. Now two left burners (extra Lo) will not turn on. Suspect either potentiometers or burner control. Since both are not working, common element seems to be control. The three other burners work, gas flows, turn on, etc. Two extra lows don't even turn on. Removing all 5 venturi tubes WILL be impossible- heat will likely result in the entire subassmbly turning and destroying piping. Can I drill out or grind off the venturi tubes? Once released, can I get them out of the orifice assembly and replace with new tubes? I was able to remove 2, one began to strip, two others were very tight. I would like part numbers for the venturi, potentiometer, orifice assembly, and the burner control.

Hello Itneverends, Two potentiometers and the simmer control come in a kit 00497234. Since the old parts are not compatible with the old parts, ALL parts of this kit HAVE to be installed for proper, normal operation to be re-established. The orifice can be cleared with a safety pin or small safety clip and will not require replacement. It appears that the other parts are no longer available from the manufacturer as they have been dis-continued.

Hello David. You'll need a QTY of four LP orifices, part number WB28K10376. Flip the regulator to LP and adjust the oven orifice. Thanks.

D Mac for Model Number Thermador PCD484EE

I have a 48" Thermador Pro Cooktop model pcd484ee. It has 4 star burners and a 24" electric griddle and has been discontinued by the manufacturer. The left two burners don't turn on at all (they have a special extra low function) but the light comes on next to the knobs when I turn them. No clicking of the sparker or opening of the gas valve. The right two burners work just fine. I tried to take the thing a part to inspect and clean it and couldn't get the venturi tubes out. Had to drill them out and messed up the gas tubes in the process. Want to order new 10.5mm venturi tubes and gas vents but want to make sure I'm ordering the right parts. There is a short and long gas tube. Any ideas about why the burners are not coming on at all? Is it a board problem affecting only the XLO setting burners?

1 Answer

D Mac, For the tubing that you need, the left front tubing is 00643265 and left rear tubing is 00664713. For the issue with the left burners not sparking and no gas would most likely be the potentiometer 00422748 or the simmer control 00619016. The venture part number for this will be 00189023.

Rick, If there is no gas getting to the burners for the oven or the top then you will want to check to make sure that the gas valve is in the on position. If it is then it sounds like the regulator would be the issue with the unit.

Mike, For the issue with the left burner not turning on would most likely be caused by a faulty solenoid which is part number 00411253. The wok issue would sound like there is a clog in the orifice that would cause slower than normal gas flow.

Pete, To remove the venturi, you will need to use a pair of duck bill pliers and stick down into the venturi, use a screwdriver in between the handles as a pry bar and twist the venturi out.
