Amy October 03, 2014 for Model Number 25352642303 Side by side refrigerator...refrigerator door does not stop and swings into the wall. I looked at the door stop for each side (refrigerator and freezer side). Both door stops appear to be in good shape. No missing pieces. Attached firmly....not loose. The freezer side door works fine. Is the door stop adjustable? Is there something else I need to check?
1 Answer Amy, You will want to look at the cam where the door hinge goes up into the door and make sure that it is not broken. If it is then it would need to be replaced. There is no other adjustment for the door swing on the unit. Read More...

Jerry January 02, 2014 for Model Number GLRS267ZCW1 How do I replace the nylon cam riser that is in the refrigerator door? Not the lower cam riser but the one in the door?
1 Answer Hello Jerry, You will need to remove the items in the door to make it light enough to handle and also so you can lay the door down to access the riser. Once emptied, remove the screws in the top door hinge and lift the door off of the unit. Lay it down and use a pair of channel lock pliers to pull the old riser out of the bottom of the door. Press in the new one, put a dab of grease on the riser, and re-install the door in the reverse order. Read More...

Sonja J April 17, 2013 for Model Number Kenmore refrigerator 253.55693407 Trying to install hinge kit 5303918455 on Kenmore side by side refrigerator. Instructions are minimal, but step one is to remove both freezer and refrigerator doors. Is this necessary...can this be done without removing the doors? Saw a similar repair on YouTube that kept the doors in place with blocks supporting the doors.

Karen March 23, 2013 for Model Number FRS6LF7JS0 What part/parts do we need to adjust the fridge door up. Its about 1/2 lower then the freezer door.
1 Answer Karen, You will want to check to make sure that the cams are not broken which would cause the door to be lower. Michelle February 24, 2013 for Model Number PLHS267ZAB6 Both the freezer and the refrigerator doors make a loud clicking/popping sound when opened and closed. Can you tell me what parts I would need to remedy this annoying problem?
1 Answer Hello Michelle, The two parts that will have to be replaced are the upper and lower door closer plates. The upper closer plates 240457701 affix to the bottom of the door and the bottom closer plates 5303918455 affix to the lower door hinge. The lower ones are not available unless the lower door hinge is ordered. This is the mysterious way that the manufacturer has decided to make the parts available. These should be lubricated periodically with petroleum jelly and to make the door closer plates last longer, heavier items should be placed on a shelf inside the unit, while the door shelves should be primarily used for lighter weight items. John Doe June 07, 2012 for Model Number FRS26H5ASB4 I need the black door stop for the freezer door and the refrigerator door. They are both labeled as 13A for the diagrams of the freezer and refrigerator door. I was able to find the black door stop for the refrigerator door (Item Number: AP3140250). However, When I looked for the door stop for the freezer door, what is listed under 13 A is the adjustable hinge kit not the door stop for the freezer door. I was wondering if I could just order two of these door stopper for the refrigerator door and use one of them for the freezer door or do you sell another one only for the freezer door? Thank you for your time.
